Scales Are For Fish




I haven’t had the guts to step on a scale since Friday.

My jeans are fitting very loosely today but I don’t want to ruin the illusion with the power of “The Number”. I know WW says we’re not supposed to weigh-in but once/week but I can’t help but peek and besides… I wanna know! (…anyway, they’re not the boss of me! See: June 20 blog entry for details.)

Yesterday I took a look back at my exercise log and since May 13 (the day I stepped back into the ring determined to fight the good fight, one more time) I’ve only missed my daily exercise 6 times. 2 of those days I was sick with a cold and 1 day I was just way too sore (damn lunges). So taking all that into consideration, I really only had 3 days where it was simply poor time management or just plain laziness. I think that’s pretty cool. For me, anyway.

On a different note, I have my first Spanish test tomorrow so I’m a little bit nerviosa about that. I studied this weekend a little bit and then today while I was at Subway (6” turkey on wheat, baked lays) I took my books in with me and studied a bit more while I ate.

Well, look at me being all good.

Who’d a thunk it? (Yes, I am a scholarship recipient. No joke.)

That's great! I wish I was more consistent with my exercising. Sure, I exercise, but for awhile it seemed like I was only going 3 to 4 times a week. I'm going to try and be better about that.

Hope the test went well!
