Just a shade over 71 miles into the journey and yes, my dogs are definitely barking. Heck, they bark most every night. Mongrels.

I didn't exercise today. Had some scheduling issues - hectic day - as evidenced by the twopointsome miles on my pedometer. Right now, I really need to go to bed and just start fresh tomorrow.

(With that said....I'll keep typing)

I had my weekly weigh-in today and I'm now down 9.4 lbs in 2 weeks. So, that's nice. I also resisted the urge to eat at McDonald's. I went so far as to break out my WW book to check the point totals on the double cheeseburger and fries. After that shock to the system, I settled for a homemade ham & cheese sammy instead.

I kinda wish I had eaten it because the craving for fries stayed with me all day and I snacked on a bunch of stuff (including fruits and veggies) that I really didn't want. I ended up going a point or two over my dailies. That sucks.

But, I guess in the long run its good I stayed away. I just have a terrible time fighting off the urge to eat fast food, or any crunchysaltys, when I have a busy day. In actuality, it took me less time to make and eat the sandwich than it would have taken me to wait in the drive-thru. (Add in the cost of gasoline burned while I idled waiting to order and I could've bought the whole damn pig!)

I have a yummy and super easy recipe I'd like to post but that will have to wait until tomorrow...tonight, I'm just too dog-tired.

G'nite.

Smile: My 2 yr old son pronounces "applesauce" as "apple pus". It kills me!

That's good you took a day of rest. My rest day will be today. Although, I'm really itching to do my Turbo Jam video today. What's wrong with me? :)

And way to go on losing 9.4 lbs! That's amazing! I really need to get back on track. Seriously. I haven't seen a loss in a very long time. Good for you! That's so awesome!! I really need to look to your for motivation in that aspect.

I don't even have a WW book. :( When I was OP I was an online member and now I have no access to that. Calorieking.com seems to be pretty good though. I can average out my points fairly well from that, but not always exact.

And yes, please post your recipe. In fact, post your whole diet so that I may follow it and be down 9 lbs myself. :) hehe... Truthfully, what I need is to have my meals made so I don't have to bother. Yeah, I'm lazy.

But when it comes to working out, I do very well. What gives?? :)
