OK kids, wish me luck ~ class starts today and I'm freaking out a little bit.
First of all, it's Spanish II and I've forgotten most of what I learned in Spanish I. Fun.
Also, the class is everyday for the next 5 weeks. Super fun.
I have to psych myself up and get through it though...gotta. I don't want to have to find a way to squeeze it into my Fall or Spring class schedule. Not only would that mean16 hellish weeks (rather than 5 hellish weeks), it would also give me even more time to forget the few remaining, feverishly clinging, oh-so-precious bits of Spanish left from the first class.
I'm concerned about my focus on my lifestyle changes as well. I rrreeeally need to plan my breakfast and lunch better than I have been. I think I might even have to ((gulp!)) pack my lunch (ugh...shades of junior high). I also need to keep some kind of snack with me so I don't find myself grazing on deliciou....errr... gross, nasty, evil, doody flavored snack foods in the student lounge.
I also have to be sure to give exercise time the same priority as class and study time.
And of course, I must make time to blog. OOOOh, boy. This oughta be interesting.
Like I said, wish me luck, kids.
~PS - I'm over 153 miles into my journey. I need to come up with some rewards for milestones...ideas?

Good luck! I can help you with Spanish. Although, it probably wouldn't be the correct and proper way to speak it, but more of what I grew up with. :) You should leave all comments to me in Spanish for practice, heh.
And milestones? What about a massage? Or maybe a pedi for your tired feet after all those miles. What about a new outfit?
Also good luck with the meal plans. I pack my lunch and bring it to work. I bought a really cute lunch bag at Target, so I don't mind as much. Stock up on the 100 calorie snacks. I love the 100 calorie Hershey wafer bars or the 100 calorie Banana Nut Muffin Hostess cakes. Hopefully that will keep you away from the snacks at the student lounge!
