My Last Bit of Wisdom

I have to go to the dentist today. I am having my final, remaining wisdom tooth removed. I am not particularly excited but nor am I terribly dreading it. It will be nice to have it over with and my dentist (who look and sounds strikingly like Peyton Manning) is a great guy. But, I am not looking forward to a few days of recovery and I am worried that I will not be able to walk as vigorously as I have been. Or, at the very least, I'm worried that I might just use my ache as an excuse not to exercise as vigorously.

I did manage to walk every day this weekend despite it being a holiday (Memorial) weekend. Only, I've done most of my exercising in the evening and I don't think I particularly like that. I think I prefer to do it in the morning. It seems as though I lose weight faster when I exercise in the morning compared to when I exercise in the evening. I did finally figure out my fancy new scale however and it can compute body fat % as well as muscle % so I'm hoping that will help to keep me from relying too much on just one number as a measure of effectiveness. I hope that it can keep me focused on wellness rather than just weight loss. I'm a bit skeptical, to be completely honest...old habits die hard and that golden number has been known to break my best intentions.
